Vines and microclimate

Cueto is located next to Monte Laturce, symbol of the legendary citizens of Clavijo next to mount Cueto and the Moorish castle which towers above it. This wine is obtained from vineyards near the mountain from which it takes its name. A young wine with a historic background which owes its character to the hardy, brave vines which grow in poor shallow soil. Our tempranillo and garnacha define the main features and the personality of the wine.
Cueto is a wine which can be enjoyed every day.

Tasting Notes

Intense ruby colour. An intense, fruity aroma of strawberry and plum jam which reflect its youth, with milky hints bringing it complexity and elegance. It has a fine, smooth attack with outstanding fruit which evolves to give it body. The harmonious blend of sensations of youth and smoothness leave a lovely reminder of fruitiness in the aftertaste.

60% Tempranillo
5% Graciano
25% Garnacha
10% Mazuelo

Ageing: 6 days’ maceration in contact with the skins and 2 weeks’ ageing on the lees.

Alcoholic strength: 12,5

Serving temperature: 15 to 18 ºC
