Tasting Notes
Golden yellow colour, of new, very clean and
shiny gold. Lots of thick tears. Medium to high
intensity of aromas. A sweet, complex nose which
opens up slowly. It reveals a rich array of
aromas in which white flowers and jasmine, and
fruity aromas of quince and baked apples stand
out alongside spicy hints of bay leaf, vanilla
and coconut. A dry, balanced wine. Round and
syrupy. Long on the palate with an intense retronasal
effect and smooth sweet tannin from the ageing
on the lees. |
